The Eleven Point River is a National Scenic Riverway. Meaning the banks of the river are forested with mature forests that are protected from harvesting and development.  This is a great luxury, no houses will ever pop-up over your favorite campsite and the stream will always look the way you remembered it.

The river is a smallmouth bass fishery in the upper reaches of the river, until Greer Spring dumps in.  At this point the rainbow trout fishery starts. Smallmouth still thrive in the deep cool pools, but rainbows load the riffles and runs.

This is a great stream for a multi day, multi species, camp fishing trip. Float for days and not see a sign of civilization.
